To say that things haven’t been going well lately for Lamar Odom would be an understatement. After dealing with a fallen NBA career, drug abuse issues and a high-profile separation from his wife, Khloe Kardashian, Odom recently took another hit when he was dropped from his new basketball team in Spain. But it looks like Odom may have a silver lining to his dark clouds as a new report claims that Kardashian may be giving him a second chance.
Odom recently spoke with In Touch Weekly while undergoing physical therapy for career-ending back injuries in New York. He told the magazine that he has high hopes for his relationship with Kardashian when he returns to L.A.
“I want to make it work with Khloe,” said Odom.
Odom added, “I’m going to see Khloe. I’m going to see her soon.”
Apparently, Odom has already been putting in work to win Kardashian back, because according to an insider,she may be ready to give him a second chance.
“He confessed his feelings and cried his heart out to her on the phone,” the family insider says of a game-changing mid-March phone conversation. “She’d been avoiding his texts and calls for weeks, but when she heard him pleading with her to take him back, she melted.”
On the same day that Odom spoke to In Touch on March 16, Kardashian posted a cryptic message on Instagram, saying “I declare that I will live as a healer. I will lift the fallen, restore the broken and encourage the discouraged. I am full of compassion and kindness. I won’t just look for a miracle; I will become someone’s miracle.”
