John Davis has a new book with a controversial title: What do White Americans Want to Know about Black Americans but are Afraid to Ask. The very nature of the title makes you want to pick it up and peruse his collection of opinion, musings and personal interviews.

“The main reason the book was written was to combat stereotypes,” said Davis.

In his book, Davis does not shy away from controversy as he gives his opinion on Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman. Davis believes that stereotypes might have played a part in Zimmerman murdering Martin.
