Tami Roman found herself splattered across tabloid headlines earlier this week when it was revealed that she was rushed to the hospital after an emergency medical scare. Although details about her medical emergency were limited at the time, new details have emerged about exactly what happened to Roman.
Roman was taken to the hospital Wednesday morning. While being treated by doctors, she took a moment to tell her fans through Instagram that she was okay.
“You know I hate hospitals, but I’m here. Sneaking on this phone to let everyone know that I’m okay and thank you all for the well wishes. Be home soon,” Roman wrote in the caption. “Thank you to all family & friends for the get well wishes, prayers and flowers. I’ll be home soon.”
Now, it’s been revealed that Roman’s medical emergency was related to her diabetes. According to TMZ, Roman went into diabetic shock due to stress and dehydration, and fainted. She was discovered in her home by her daughter, who called 911.
Roman spent Wednesday night in the hospital and was released yesterday morning after doctors determined she was healthy enough to go home.
We’re glad that Roman is safe and sound, and we expect to see more about this health scare when her spin-off reality show,“Roman Empire” makes its debut.
