Kenya’s dog dies
Tragedy strikes at Kenya’s home when she reveals that her little dog, Velvet, has died. She calls her aunt who rushes over and Kenya cries uncontrollably as she explains that Velvet was mauled by a bigger dog and died on the way to the animal hospital. Kenya is heartbroken and her aunt recommends that she hold a doggie funeral to help her let Velvet go. Kenya has Velvet cremated and invites Cynthia to the doggie funeral where there are flowers and even a headstone for the dog. Kenya is still crushed but is happy she got to say goodbye to Velvet.
