Cynthia Confronts NeNe About Their Broken Friendship
Things take a sad turn towards the end of the episode when Cynthia confronts NeNe about calling Peter a “b—-.” Cynthia admits that NeNe can never admit she’s wrong and that even though NeNe apologized, the issue hasn’t gone away because of the show and because NeNe keeps dissing her and Peter on social media. NeNe tells Cynthia that she has the right to feel however she does and she refuses to talk about their rift on camera, saying no one on set has a right to speak about their friendship. But Cynthia tears up as she reveals to NeNe that she doesn’t feel like she’s respected in their friendship. NeNe has a cold reaction and claims that she does respect her, but Cynthia disagrees. And when Andy asks if they can fix their friendship, NeNe says she doesn’t know while Cynthia echoes the sentiment, saying some friendships run their course and end.
