NeNe and Marlo seemed thick as thieves until suddenly they weren’t. On the latest season of “Real Housewives” NeNe and her accomplice fell out after Leakes believed she was becoming too close to Kenya Moore.
“Did you see the opportunist that keeps coming around? wrote Leakes in a Bravo TV blog. “Did you see my friend just sit there and indirectly support this B.S.? I have worked with a lot of women over the years and the one thing that it has taught me is that life is like an elevator — on your way up, you have to let people off!” she added.
“Let me start by saying that while Kenya and I are not best friends (we only met recently), I refuse to let others determine whether or not I should befriend her,” wrote Hampton in a blog post of her own. She has done nothing but support me and whenever we’re together we always have a grand ole time. I don’t need to sit in judgment of her.”
The two ladies continued to trade jabs online like high schoolers dubbing each other “Man-Lo”and “Donald Trump” before Leakes ultimately put the nail in the coffin of their friendship.
“We exchanged text messages a few days ago. It ended up with her saying, ‘Don’t call me back.’ It wasn’t good at all,” Hampton told Radar of their exchange.
