Pastor Adams is also an actor and appears in the television show “Fatal Attraction” on TV One. Recently, rolling out asked Pastor Adams a few questions on God and spirituality.

How have you made God Relevant in your community?

Each day, I attempt to encourage and inspire people to find their inner strength and become better people and therefore live better lives. I do this through shining the light on all of the dark places of my life and allowing them to be a testimony of how God can take your pain and use it to catapult you into your purpose. People need to know that God loves them and that all have sinned and come short. The kingdom of God welcomes all and makes new everyone that is willing to accept God and submit to His ways.

With all that is going on in the world in matters of faith and life circumstances, why God and why now?

We cannot see faith. We cannot see God, at least [not] with our natural eyes. But, we can feel Him. That supernatural experience alone is enough to change the world and provide hope to the hopeless. If we would close our eyes, lift up our hands and call on the name of Jesus, God will send a refreshing. He will send an infilling of the Holy Spirit that will lead, guide and comfort us through this journey. Now is the time for a refreshing. We are living in a time when right is wrong and wrong is perceived and taught as right. Only the Holy Spirit can truly lead and guide us into all sincere truth.

If you don’t go to church regularly, is being spiritual enough? Why or why not?

Going to church regularly does not make you any [more] spiritual than the next person. Being spiritual only, with no God-led instinct is not enough. Unless we are balanced and connected to the vine (Jesus), it is impossible to walk in the fullness of strength, joy and freedom that is available for everyone that believes. With all of the hurt and pain upon the land, the heart of people are crying out for a touch from God. But if we don’t reach out for it, we cannot receive it. And, if we that are in Christ do not let our light and sincere compassion shine, then where can the light be found in this dark world?
