Got a question for you. Have you ever photographed a condor? My point exactly, and the reason why Peru’s Colca Canyon is a must on this Memorial Day list. The majestic birds can be found soaring around the snow-capped mountain of this isolated piece of heaven. The canyon was largely inaccessible until the 1970s—it was virtually forgotten by the outside world—and the inhabitants live in total isolation until the roads were built. Now, its a tourist haven, but the villages thankfully remain unchanged.
