Without a doubt, the contestants of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” have inspired a whole new generation American youth to not only walk proudly in their skin but feel comfortable expressing gender however they see it, regardless of what society thinks. And that point was made perfectly clear in a heartwarming moment this week when “Drag Race” superstar Jujubee was photographed with a fan who was bullied for being a “princess boy.”

According to Queerty, Jujubee was at Rhode Island PrideFest this past weekend when she ran into a little boy named Jeffrey, who was walking around in a cute skirt and heels. His mother, Starlie Becote, asked Jujubee if she could take a photo with the young boy and Jujubee happily obliged and posted the picture on Facebook, which has now garnered over 425,000 likes.

“His mother brought him over and I was so happy! I asked “Are you my lil princess boy???” He replied with a huge smile, “YES I AM!”‪#‎RhodeIslandPride,” Jujubee captioned the photo.

Becote also commented on the photo and explained to fans thatJeffrey is often bullied for being gender-nonconforming and she explained that he was happy to finally meet another man who dressed in women’s clothes.

“That’s my baby Jeffrey. Thank you all for making his day brighter yesterday. He’s never met anyone else like himself and has been bullied for years. I am so proud of him for meeting such a cruel world with the biggest smile everyday. And JuJu, he says he’s never washing that skirt and shirt because you held him in it. You have no idea what a difference you have made in his life!! Luv ya,” Becote wrote.

Becote also wrote that Jeffrey has turned his love of women’s clothes into a creative passion when it comes to design.

“He is amazing! He actually designs most of his clothes himself (not the skirt he’s wearing in the pic) but he makes clothes for himself and his Barbies, he sews them from fabrics. I see a future in fashion design,” she wrote.

Well, we’re elated that Jeffrey found a kindred spirit and someone to look up to. We hope he continues to express himself exactly how he wants and that he nourishes his passion for design, and perhaps, just like how Jujubee provided a guiding light for him, one day he can be that guiding light for another young outcast. – nicholas robinson
