Beyoncé tops 2014 MTV Video Music Awards nominations: Check out the full list

And your 2014 MTV Video Music Awards nominees are …

Beyoncé leads this year’s MTV Video Music Awards nominations, with a total of eight nods, including Video of the Year, Best Female and Best Collaboration for several tracks from her self-titled album.


Not far behind Mrs. Carter, are hip-hop heavyweights Eminem, whose nominations include Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Male Video and Best Collaboration and newbie Iggy Azalea, whose summer smash single “Fancy,” snagged the coveted nod of the night, Video of the Year. Both VMA veteran Eminem and Azalea racked up seven nominations each. Also receiving several nods in the list announced on Thursday, July 17 via SnapChat, are Jay Z, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Ariana Grande, Lorde, Pitbull and Jason Derulo.

To see who walks away with the coveted Moonman and for performances by Usher, Grande and 5 Seconds of Summer, check out the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, live on Sunday, Aug. 24, at 9 p.m. EST on MTV.
