RuPaul’s successful “Drag Race” empire may be the talk of the town in the world of reality TV, but that doesn’t mean the queen of drag is limiting himself to just his own reality TV brands. According to a new report, RuPaul just added another reality show under his belt after signing on to be a judge on the new series “Skin Wars.”
According to World of Wonder, the Game Show Network series will center around 10 of America’s best body painters as they compete in an eight-episode competition to see who the top body painter is.
Actress Rebecca Romijn, who underwent a major body paint transformation as Mystique in the first X-Men film trilogy, will serve as the show’s main host and judge, while RuPaul, who definitely knows a thing or two about makeup and body paint, will serve as a member of the judging panel.
“We are thrilled that the master of transformation, RuPaul, will join body painting aficionados Craig Tracy and Robin Slonina on the judging panel,” said Amy Introcaso-Davis, Executive Vice President, Programming and Development.
“Skin Wars” will premiere at 8 p.m on Wednesday, Aug. 6. Reportedly, after the show’s run ends, RuPaul will likely be back on TV with the highlyanticipated “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 2.”
