Martin Lawrence reveals plans for “Bad Boys III”
Martin Lawrence reveals that a third installment of the hit franchise, Bad Boys is in development. During a recent appearance on TBS’ “Conan” the funnyman said … “I just talked to [producer] Jerry Bruckheimer yesterday and he said it’s real, they’re working on the script, they’re getting close, and it all looks good.”
Although, Lawrence didn’t reveal whether or not Will Smith has signed on to reprise his role, it’s hard to imagine that he would turn down such an opportunity. He hinted at it, however, after O’Brien asked to be given a walk-on role in the future film. ” I will mention it to Will Wmith and Jerry Bruckheimer that Conan wants a cameo,” Lawrence said.
“We wanna cast you in it,” Lawrence continued. “You know what you could play? A crooked cop on crack.”
Conan replied, “Yes! I think I was born to play that.”
In 1995 Bad Boys’ took the big screen by storm. Shortly after, in 2003, Bad Boys II became an equally profitable hit. Over a decade later, Bad Boys III is said to be in production, but is it a little too late for a sequel? Will you be watching? – ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
