Mimi Faust’s life has been spinning out of control all year long thanks to her notorious sex tape with her former boyfriend, Nikko London. But things became even worse Monday night during “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” when Nikko revealed that he was already married to another woman, Margo Simms. After blasting Nikko on Twitter after the show aired, Faust is now opening up in detail about his secret marriage.
Faust discussed the controversial marriage during a recent interview with TheJasmineBrand.com, in which she revealed that even though she’s never met Nikko’s wife, Simms has always been in the picture but was presented to her by Nikko as an ex-girlfriend, not his wife.
“Um, the wife would call an awful lot and when I would ask him about it he would say that’s an ex, they’re still friends, they didn’t have a bad break-up like Stevie and I and they still communicate would be his response, but yea, she did call him a lot and [he] referred to her as his ex,” Faust revealed.
Faust said she never saw any warning signs that Nikko was married, but she says that, in hindsight, her psychic from the previous season of the show warned her about Nikko.
“I’ll tell you what was very odd. The year before when Erica and I went to the psychic and the psychic said ‘The guy that you’re with is married’ now … I didn’t know if she was talking about Stevie, and I wasn’t with Stevie but he is my daughter’s father and it never occurred to me that it was Nikko, so I just assumed that she was talking about Stevie but the psychic did tell me that. It never occurred to me to ask Nikko so, no,” she explained.
Faust says that she hasn’t spoken to Nikko since the episode aired and she answers the question of whether or not they’re a couple anymore.
“No we’re not together, there’s no relationship, there’s no status,” said Faust.
“I can forgive him and I can forget that. I’ll probably never trust him again but I can forgive that and move on,” she added.
Considering everything she’s been through with Nikko, we’re glad she finally wised up and dropped him. – nicholas robinson
