Momma Dee has a bad history of butting heads with her son, Lil Scrappy’s, girlfriends and few girls have clashed with Momma Dee as hard as Diamond, who has bashed both Momma Dee and Scrappy publicly over their bitter feud. And although Momma Dee has entertained the beef for years, it seems like things have gone too far for the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star, who recently denied Diamond’s claim that she stole from her.
During the recent series premiere of “Sisterhood of Hip Hop,” Diamond discussed her tumultuous relationship with Scrappy and claimed that part of the problem in their romance was Momma Dee. Diamond even claimed that Momma Dee stole clothes from her.
“His mom always tried to steal my clothes, my bags and my jewelry,” Diamond said.
Well, Momma Dee wasn’t at all happy about Diamond’s comments and during a new interview with Vlad TV she denied the accusation.
“I have never stolen anything ever in my life and would not stand for anything that she says that is so hurtful and untruthful,” she said.
But Momma Dee didn’t stop there. According to Sister 2 Sister, she also decided to send Diamond a cease and desist order to stop the rapper from making any more derogatory remarks against her or Scrappy.
“It is unfortunate that Ms. Carpentero aka Diamond continues to slander my client and her son in the press. The relationship between my client’s son and Ms. Carpentero ended years ago yet she continues to talk about Momma Dee in a negative light, most recently making false claims that my client stole property,” the letter reportedly read. “We are not taking such accusations lightly and will use the appropriate channels to handle the defamation of character.”
Well, we’re not sure that Diamond will comply with the letter, but we’re sure that things will remain tense between these two ladies. – nicholas robinson
