The Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce will conduct its first ever Black Enterprise Top 100 Reception and State of Black Business Forum Aug. 26- 27, 2014.
“The Right Time. The Right People. The Right Conversations. The Right Results,” is the theme for this event.
The forum will inform Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce members and the community on the climate and condition of African American business in Dallas. It will provide a statistical overview of the state of black business, the numbers and trends in various industries, and potential growth opportunities. It is being sponsored by Wells Fargo and Park Place Motorcars Dallas.
The Black Enterprise Top 100 Reception will honor Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce members and business owners that are recognized on the Black Enterprise Top 100 prestigious list. The Honorees are Roland Parrish – Parrish McDonald’s Restaurants Ltd., Al Black – On Target Supplies & Logistics, and Charles Grigsby – Facilities Interiors. Invitees to this event will include elected officials, sponsors and guests, DBCC board of directors and select chamber members. The event will be held Aug. 26 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Omni Dallas Hotel (Katy Trail).
The State of Black Business Form will be critically important for attendees to discuss and design a strategic plan for how to have a greater economic impact within our communities. The schedule and topics are listed below.
