The 4th Annual American Coney Island Coney Dog Eating Challenge is set for Thursday, Aug. 28. This year’s event will bring several exciting new additions including a new coney challenge heat between teams from the Detroit Police and Fire Departments and a special guest appearance by international competitive eater and Guinness record holder, Takeru Kobayashi. Registration is open for the individual competition to determine who can cut the mustard and become the top dog in Detroit.
