Authorities got more than what they bargained for when they went to arrest someone for allegedly violating their probation and ended up arresting an additional rapper by the name of Nipsey Hussle, too!
On Friday night, the 29-year-old rapper was picked up in downtown Los Angeles, California and charged with obstructing a police officer.
According to police, “they were raiding a clothing store looking for a possible probation violator and Hussle (real name Emmias Ashghedom) happened to be there as well,” reports TMZ.
While it is unclear what laws Hussle violated resulting in his arrest, his rep states that the rapper feels his arrest was “unjust and without cause.”
After posting $13,000 for bail, Hussle was released early Saturday morning. Despite his current legal incident, Hussle is due to perform at the Made In America festival in Los Angeles today. – ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
