CNN – During the first week of the disturbances in Ferguson, Missouri, the news media outlet CNN released breaking news. The information dealt with an anonymous caller known simply as Josie. This caller contacted a local radio talk show and claimed that she knew Darren Wilson and had previously unknown details about the shooting. Her narrative stated, in summary, that Michael Brown was the aggressor and beat officer Darren Wilson so badly that Wilson almost went unconscious. She further went on to state that Michael Brown seemed to be on some kind of drug and this is why Wilson had to shoot Brown at least six times. The choice of CNN to make this legitimate news is shocking to say the least. However, it became even more shameful when it turned out that the narrative of Josie was completely false.
