Gucci Mane enters plea in aggravated assault case

GUCCI

If there’s a cure for this, Gucci Mane clearly doesn’t want it.

Just one week after having his sentence on a gun charge reduced, the “Wasted” rapper pleaded guilty to an aggravated assault charge that will more than likely negate his reduced sentence.

The aggravated assault charge stems from an incident in which Gucci (born Radric Davis) reportedly beat up a man in an Atlanta nightclub who approached him and asked for a picture.

“Rather than accommodating the admiring fan, Davis, for no explicable reason, instead, hit the victim over the head with a vodka bottle and then hurriedly left the club,” said District Attorney Paul Howard in a statement. “The victim sustained a deep laceration to his forehead which required 10 stitches.”

Though this latest sentence will run concurrently with his now reduced gun sentence, it is unclear if it will extended his new projected release date or not.
