Nyemiah breaks through
Last week’s episode saw Nyemiah’s manager Alex give the ultimatum that either Nyemiah seek help for her emotional stonewalling or find new management. Nyemiah then sees acting coach Susan Batson to get to the root of her inability to communicate with people. It’s discovered that since childhood Nyemiah has learned to stifle her feelings and it’s caused her to subconsciously put up walls. A breakthrough is made and Nyemiah sits with her mother to discuss her rocky childhood. Though at first seeming insensitive to the matter, Nyemiah’s mom warms up to the idea and the two come to an understanding. Later Nyemiah calls the girls together to thank them for helping her to recognize the issue. She then throws out the idea of putting together a showcase for all five ladies. Brianna and Siya immediately agree to jump on board and it’s decided that Bia (who couldn’t make the meeting) would more than likely be down as well. Superstar Diamond is the only lady who expresses that she may not be able to participate because she’s in “transition”. Nonetheless it is decided that the showcase will go on. We’ll have to wait until next week to see if Queen Diamond makes herself available or not.
