How’s the adjustment to all the newfound fame?
I’m from Brooklyn. This feels like I’m walking on clouds.

Is it difficult to do normal things now?
Yeah it is. I can’t walk in the mall anymore. I can’t sit down to eat like I’d usually do but I love every moment of it. I’ve been waiting for this my whole life. I’m taking it all in..

Did you always know that you wanted to be an artist?
I’ve always known this is what I’ve wanted to do. When I was 7 years old my mom was on drugs and my way of escaping that was to write. Then my writing turned into poetry and the poetry turned into rhymes so it’s always been this for me. It was either this or the streets.

Who were your musical idols?
Growing up in Brooklyn for me it was all about Jay Z and Biggie. That was my era you know? But I was also a fan of Big L. Big L was a beast. If he were alive a lot of other people’s careers might not have gone the way they went.

Name four other artists you’d included in your own super group along with yourself?
Honestly I’d have to keep it a buck. What we’re doing on this show has never been done before so I’d choose all the other girls on the show. Maybe have Eve or Missy as alternates.

Being a on a reality show that features five women, people may expect to see lots of cattiness like in other shows. Talk about providing a different image?
We’re all women. We’re all people so there will always be disagreements. But at the end of the day we’re all woman enough to know things can be resolved without all the fighting and drama.  Things can be talked out. Plus we all have the same dream and goal, which is to make it big in our profession of music, so for the most part we all know where each other is coming from.

What’s the best part of being a part of this show?
Honestly just getting a chance to know all the other ladies and believe it or not filming it. To have that camera on you 24/7 and just being unafraid of the outcome and to be free and just being you was pretty dope to me.

What’s the worst part of being a part of this show?
Sometimes there were times you’d wanna be like “Cut the cameras!” or “No, don’t catch this!” or “Get out of my face!” but at the end of the day they’re there to do their job and you can’t even be mad at that. But for me there wasn’t a time when I was like “F this! I’m out!” It was always like “Alright we’re gonna get through it. Let’s just rock out!”

Name one song that you wish you’d written?
“Ladies Night” with Angie Martinez, Lil Kim, Missy and Left Eye. That record was so epic and empowering for women.

Name an album that you love and know word for word?
Jay Z ‘s “Reasonable Doubt.” I still ride to that one to this day.

What would fans be surprised to know about you?
Here’s a fun fact: I am deathly afraid of planes. It just so happens that I’m an artist and have to fly a lot, but I hate it. No one would know that (until now) unless they knew me personally.

What’s next for you that can fans can look forward to?
Definitely gonna drop some new music soon. Looking to flood the internet with content. Mixshows, mixtapes, albums, everything. It’s all on the way. I’m just trying to keep it pumping while we have this leverage from the show. The love and the response has been phenomenal.
