Beauty brands committed to saving lives

Pink breast cancer ribbon with October calendar

While shopping during October, remember its Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Nordstrom is one retailer at the forefront of supporting breast cancer survivors.

Through their prosthesis program, they’re working year-round to help breast cancer survivors look and feel their best. In every Nordstrom full-line store across the U.S., customers can find certified fit specialists and an expert team of tailors who offer complimentary pocketing of almost any bra, camisole or swimsuit. They even help with the insurance paperwork. You can learn more about this unique offering at Nordstrom.com/prosthesisprogram.

As part of the We Heart a Great Fit event, running online through the end of October and in-store Oct. 24-25, they’re donating $2 from the sale of bras from participating brands to the Young Survival Coalition, an organization that addresses the specific concerns of young women with breast cancer.

Here’s a list of beauty brands supporting breast cancer research.
