Richard Thompson must have been high on some type of drug when he appeared in court on a drug charge.

According to reports by NJ.com, Thompson, 32, had to answer to a DUI and marijuana charge at a Port Authority New Jersey courtroom. However, when Thompson showed up to court, officers, who perform standard security screenings, noticed something strange in Thompson’s backpack.

When they searched further, the officers allegedly found 50 grams of marijuana inside of the bag. Thompson also had rolling papers and an unrolled cigar wrapper in the bag.

Thompson was arrested at court and charged with having marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The same officer who arrested Thompson for his initial DUI and marijuana charge arrested him at the court.
