Drizzy Drake is “on a roll like Cottonelle” indeed.
The Young Money rapper just made history by passing legendary band The Beatles on the list for most times appearing on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. With his guest appearance on protégé iLoveMakonnen’s “Tuesday,” Drake now has 72 appearances on the chart in comparison to The Beatles’ 71 entries.
Quite impressive when you factor in that Drake has only released three official studio albums.
He’s currently in eighth place on the list behind such greats as Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, James Brown and Elvis Presley. As far as rap competition, Jay Z is in his sights holding in with 82 appearances and Young Money boss Lil Wayne actually tops the list for Hip-Hop artists with 122.
Surprisingly, Fox’s musical comedy-drama “Glee” leads the pack with an astounding 207 entries on the chart.
