The 50-Year-Old Virgin
Deitrick’s friend, Timothy Alden, comes to town. Tim is a fellow pastor visiting from Detroit. He drops the bombshell on Deitrick that although he is almost 50-years-old, he is still a virgin and has never dated or kissed a woman. The revelation comes to Deitrick to introduce Tim to Wayne and Myesha, as they are putting together a workshop centered around faith and sex. One session is called Saved, Sanctified, and Sexual, for married couples and the other is Saved, Sanctified, and Single, for singles, were designed to help married couples keep their marriage hot and help single members navigate being single and looking. Sex expert Lou Paget served as the guest speaker for the married couples while Tim spoke at the single’s portion. Afterwards Myesha’s friend expresses some interest in Tim and Myesha excitedly arranges a triple date with the Haddons that is masked as a group outing. Soon after Tim arrives, Myesha goes into Chuck Woolery mode and probes with questions designed to make a love connection. Though it’s a little unclear if Myesha’s efforts were in vain, we will surely be seeing more of Pastor Timothy Alden as he is set to become a cast member of the upcoming Detroit spin-off.
