Def Jam’s recent 30th anniversary concert was one for the record books, as artists old and new came through to pay homage to the legendary label.
Unfortunately the production did have it’s share of hiccups such as the absence of singer Jhené Aiko, who is signed to the label. As the “To Love and Die” singer explained to a fan on Instagram, she was actually present at the venue and ready to perform until an altercation involving security and a member of her team forced her to not take the stage.
Check out her post and explanation below:
Def Jam has yet to issue a statement on the incident.
