The ladies of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” were recently spotted together in the Philippines on their annual trip for the reality show. But fans noticed that series lead NeNe Leakes was missing from the photos, and though some suspected that shade from her other cast mates was involved in Leakes not being in the photos, the “RHOA” star recently revealed that she’s not in in the Philippines and that she skipped the trip over health issues.
According to TMZ, Leakes skipped the trip because of the same blood clots that landed her in the hospital last year. As fans will remember, Leakes was rushed to the hospital last November where she learned that blood clots had formed around her lungs due to her numerous flights around the country.
Sources say that Leakes was supposed to be filming in the Philippines with her cast mates but had to cancel her flight because the 20-hour plane trip could’ve caused her more blood clots and proved potentially fatal for her.
Well, we’re glad that Leakes is keeping her health in mind, and we’re sure the rest of the cast will provide enough drama for the episode without Leakes there. –nicholas robinson
