Snoop Dogg and Iggy Azalea may have publicly ended their controversial feud, but the two rappers have both indicated that there is no love lost between them. With Iggy implying that she wouldn’t want to work with the Long Beach legend in the near future and Snoop quoting Big Sean’s “I Don’t F–k With You” after he was asked about Iggy, there appears to still be lingering animosity. T.I. has served as Iggy’s mentor in the game, and he intervened during the public discourse between Iggy and Snoop. The “King of the South” was asked about the beef during a recent interview with XXL.
“I’m not in a position to make anyone like each other,” T.I. said. “I respect him enough, I respect her enough, for them to form their own respectful opinions of whomever. I still f–k with Snoop, based on my relationship with Snoop, based on what I know about Snoop. I still f–k with Iggy based on my relationship with Iggy and what I know about Iggy.
“I wouldn’t be comfortable if she said anything disrespectful about him [and] I wouldn’t be comfortable if he said anything disrespectful about her,” T.I. added. “I’m not here to make people like each other. I respect Snoop, I respect Iggy, got love for them both. And hopefully one day, as time moves on, they’ll find some things that they have in common rather than noticing all the things that they don’t.”
Tip released his ninth album, Paperwork, last week to positive critical reviews.
