Sometimes people forget that our beloved President Obama is actually Barack Obama, longtime resident of the South Side of Chicago.
Take for the instance legendary Chicago Bulls guard and beloved Chi-Town hero in his own right, Michael Jordan.
During a interview with journalist and good friend Ahmad Rashad, when asked if he’d include President Obama among an ideal three others to golf with, Jordan had some not so nice things to say.
“I’ve never played with Obama,” Jordan said. “But I would.” Then Jordan had a change of heart and added “No, that’s OK. He’s a hack. … I never said he wasn’t a great politician. I’m just saying he’s a s–tty golfer.”
When asked about Jordan’s comments in an interview with Wisconsin radio station WJMR-FM, President Obama threw back some jabs of his own:
“Mike and I, we know each other, but I’ve never played golf with him. Michael wasn’t very well informed about this. I think he might’ve just been trying to give Ahmad an extra ratings boost on his show. There is no doubt that Michael is a better golfer than I am. Of course, if I was playing twice a day for the last 15 years, then that might not be the case. He might want to spend more time thinking about the Bobcats or … the Hornets.”
Ouch Mr. President!
