The Dallas Arboretum has enhanced their beautiful landscape with the 12 Days of Christmas presented by Amegy Bank of Texas. This will be a wonderful addition to the holiday season.

Celebrate the holidays like never before with this centerpiece exhibit featuring an elaborate collection of 25-foot Victorian gazebos filled with the charming costumed characters and whimsical animals made famous by the beloved Christmas carol. Each gazebo will be encased in glass and extravagantly decorated on all sides to provide a dramatic, three-dimensional experience, and will feature mechanical parts and festive music that will assist in bringing the characters to an even more lifelike state. This can provide the perfect backdrop for holiday photos.

Rolling out had the privilege of viewing the animated gazebos and speaking to Tommy Bourgeois, The Dallas Opera production manager; creator of the beautifully designed costumes and decor. “It was a rewarding feeling, knowing the exhibit will bring joy to many during the holidays,” he said.

The $2 million exhibition created roughly 100 jobs and includes 12, 25-foot-tall gazebos. The Dallas Arboretum has sold over 20,000 tickets for the exhibit which will display daily Nov. 16, 2014 through Jan.y 4, 2015. Welcome the holidays in style and visit the 12 Days of Christmas at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Ticket prices range from Free to $15. For more information, visit dallasarboretum.org.
