How Shanesha Taylor spent thousands in donation money on a rap album for her baby daddy

Shanesa Taylor

Shanehsa Taylor garnered sympathy in March of 2014 after her mug shot went viral. Taylor cried after being arrested for leaving her kids in a car while going on a job interview in Arizona.

Taylor was homeless and appeared to only want to make a better life for herself. People across the nation wanted to help the young mother and decided to create a crowdfunding site in her honor. The site raised $114,825.

The judge in the case told Taylor she could avoid jail if she set up a trust fund for her kids and placed $40,000 in the fund. However, Taylor never set up a trust fund and apparently went on a spending spree.

The DA says Taylor began spending $4,000 per month on nonessential items. But the more ridiculous accusation is that Taylor spent $6,000 on studio time so her baby daddy could complete his debut rap album.

Taylor will now have to face a trial for felony child abuse on Dec. 10.
