Could Nicki Minaj be the next big name in daytime TV? The resident YMCMB Barbie who recently made her big screen debut in The Other Woman alongside Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton sets her sights higher, voicing her desire to co-host “The View”
If you’re just tuning in, earlier this week, the ladies of “The View” threw Minaj under the bus following her unveiling of the Nazi-inspired cover art for her latest single “Only,” by claiming that the Barb has no recollection of her history or anything regarding the Holocaust. Ouch!
Now, a member of Minaj’s camp is speaking out on behalf of the rapper, suggesting that in order to clear her name and prove her intelligence, the “Anaconda” recording artist should appear as a guest co-host on the popular ABC daytime talk show.
“Nicki was hurt that Whoopi and the other women basically called her stupid. She really loves the show, and it sucked that they called her out that way. She’s an intelligent businesswoman. She wants to handle it the best way she knows how — by confronting them and showing them she can throw down on Hot Topics,” her team told “Dish Nation.”
Minaj also aired out her grievances with Big Sean’s ex, Naya Rivera, who made some smart remarks on the same show.
“Naya actually pissed Nicki off. Naya’s a lousy role model for kids for jacking up her face. Talk about stupid … Nicki says she feels bad for Naya. And she’s going to have the last laugh anyway,” the source added.
