Kandi’s home is torn apart
Now that Mama Joyce is moving into the new home that Kandi purchased for her, Kandi goes to her old home, where Joyce was staying, and finds that the house is in shambles. As she walks through the home with Todd, she sees that the home has nearly been gutted with unfinished renovations from Joyce’s boyfriend, who was staying with her in the house as well. Kandi complains that Joyce was a hypocrite for complaining about Todd while her own boyfriend was damaging her home, and Todd asks her to stand up to her mom now that she’s responsible for tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of damage. However, Kandi doesn’t know how to draw the line and she hopes her mother keeps her word about fixing the place.
