It’s no secret that Apollo Nida and Phaedra Parks’ marriage is just a few divorce papers away from ending soon, but did the estranged couple ever try to mend their marriage before calling it quits when Nida went to jail? Well, according to a new preview clip from Sunday’s upcoming episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Nida tried get his marriage with Parks back on track.
In the new clip, Nida pops up on Parks while she’s out with the girls at a club and he pulls Parks away from the ladies and talks with her about her lack of communication.
“I’m still your husband, don’t forget that,” Nida says to his wife. “I’m sick of straddling the fence. If two people are unhappy … [there’s] one solution,” Nida said.
We’re not sure yet what his solution was, but we all know that Parks’ solution to their marriage problems was to file for divorce in October. And Nida recently claimed that their relationship is still dysfunctional, saying that Parks has refused to let their sons, Ayden and Dylan, visit him in prison.
Well, this is one sad and dramatic divorce, but as always, we’re hoping for the best for their sons.
