It’s been more than a year since Lance Bass became engaged to his longtime boyfriend, Michael Turchin. And now after such a long wait, the couple finally tied the knot this weekend.
According to the New York Times, Bass and Turchin jumped the broom Saturday night in front of 300 guests at the Legendary Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.
“Mr. Bass and Mr. Turchin, both given away by their mothers, were wed under a canopy in honor of Mr. Turchin’s Jewish heritage. They decided to abandon the tradition of being surrounded by a wedding party and chose instead to ask four models, clad in ivory dresses, to mimic flower girls. Friends walked the couple’s three dogs down the aisle,” wrote the NY Times about Bass’ wedding.
And, of course, the event wasn’t without its celebrity guests. Actresses Jamie-Lynn Sigler and JoAnna Garcia Swisher became Universal Life ministers for the event and officiated the wedding. Bass’ former NSync bandmate J.C. Chasez sang Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” for the couple’s first dance, and Kelly Price performed as well.
We send our congratulations to Bass on his nuptials and we hope the couple has their happily ever after in each other.
