Singer Janelle Monae is certainly coming out of her shell …
To kick off the new year, the 29-year-old superstar took an extended vacay in the tropics, surrounded by a handful of her closest friends.
“Bae” wrote a friend of Monae’s, Mykal Monroe, who shared the above image via Instagram, showcasing the “Primetime” recording artist in a red-hot bikini complimented by a gorgeous curly coif and embroidered cover-up.
Monae and her crew later dined at a local hot spot and went dancing.
