Last night on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” NeNe Leakes finally met her match when she got into a shade match with “RHOA” newcomer Claudia Jordan. But things took a surprisingly negative turn when Leakes called Jordan a “half-breed.” Now, Jordan is opening up about how she felt about the racist comment.
While chatting with “Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen, Jordan opened up about her big squabble with Leakes, in which the ladies fought over the disrespect and shade that Leakes had been throwing toward herself and several of the other cast mates.
And while the two argued, Leakes remarked, “what you’ve got, this half-breed s—, it’s not in in Atlanta.”
Jordan explained to Cohen that she she hadn’t fully processed the “half-breed” comment during the fight, but afterward she regarded it as the most offensive thing that Leakes said to her.
“I spoke about the whole biracial thing on the show and some people were tired of me talking about it, but those are the kind of incidents, like, why is that a negative to call me a half-breed? And I thought that was a really low blow. I thought that was worse than the clit thing, I think.”
“I can’t do anything about that, nor would I want to. That’s a part of who I am,” Jordan added.
Granted, both Jordan and Leakes were on their worst behavior last night as they ripped into each other with their shade. But it was particularly disturbing to watch Leakes make a negative about someone’s race, especially since she’s a black woman who has always been targeted in the media because of her skin tone.
But that’s not all that Jordan had to say on her battle with Leakes. Read some of her Bravo blog comments after the cut.
