Earlier this season on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” it seemed like Mama Joyce was thrilled to be moving into the new home that her daughter, Kandi Burruss, bought her. But now it appears that Joyce isn’t happy about the move.
In a recent interview with RadarOnline, Joyce explained that the process of leaving the home she’s known for nearly four decades for her new home has been a lot more stressful and draining that she thought it would be.
“This has been a huge ordeal to try and pack up 38 years of stuff and I am just not excited about moving,” Joyce said.
Joyce says that although she was initially excited about her new place, there are some things about the home that she didn’t like and that needed to be changed.
“I was not happy with the foyer paint; it wasn’t the color that I really wanted so I had to have Kandi get that painted over. I like the open floor plan but I think it will take me some time to get used to it.”
Joyce also explained that Bravo cameras aren’t following her around for her move.
“Hopefully, I’ll be in by the end of the month but I wouldn’t want them to film this whole mess.”
Well, it sounds like Joyce is just having a hard time dealing with such a big change, but one thing she’s not changing is her attitude about Burruss’ husband, Todd Tucker.
