A woman looking for love almost lost her life after going on a date with a man she met on an online dating site. According to reports by The Atlanta Journal-Constituion, the woman, 34, met Dontarius Turner, 22, on badoo.com.
The two began to chat on the site and eventually agreed to meet for a meal at Waffle House. They decided not to eat and the woman drove to a nearby hotel. However, things went wrong quickly as Turner had other objectives on his mind. While driving, Turner produced a handgun and aimed it at the woman.
He demanded that she give him money and took her car keys. Turner then shot the woman in the face. He attempted to shoot her again, but the woman was able to escape as Turner drove away in her 1999 Jeep Cherokee.
Turner has been arrested in Memphis, Tennessee. He faces charges of armed robbery and attempted murder.
