St. Louis area police are facing more scrutiny for brutality. But this time, there is strong evidence that officers intentionally broke the law.

According to Fox 2 Now and a dash-cam video, St. Louis City police began following Cortez Buford. The officers pulled Buford over and arrested a passenger. The police yelled at Buford to get out of the car and he was eventually yanked out by the officers. Several police began to attack Buford while he was handcuffed on the ground. The dash-cam video shows police officers kicking Buford in the head and he can be heard screaming as one officer puts a taser to his body.

During the attack, one officer told the officers to wait because the dash-cam was red (red means the camera is on). She tells them to stop again and proceeds to turn the camera off.

Buford was charged with possession of a weapon and marijuana. However, the judge dropped all charges after viewing the dash-cam video.

Buford and his lawyers are now suing the police department. An internal affairs investigation has been launched against the officers involved.
