Shakara Martin, 32, reportedly had dreams of being a member of a dance group in Florida. She wanted to be a part of the organization so badly that she was willing to degrade herself and risk her freedom.
According to reports by Sun Sentinel, Martin took off all of her clothes on March 8 and visited a Dunkin’ Donuts. She paraded nude in front of the restaurant and refused to take clothes from people who offered to give her help. Eventually, police officers were called to the scene.
Martin showed remorse as officers approached her and asked why she was naked. She revealed that she was pledging to join a dance group and walked outside naked on a dare.
Martin was arrested and charged with indecent exposure. Police have yet to reveal the dance group that dared Martin to strip naked.
