Chrissy meets Chink’s dad
Chink travels home to Maryland to spend time with his sickly father and get advice on how to deal with his issues with Chrissy. Despite his dad’s previous claims that he didn’t want to meet Chrissy, he advises Chink to fight for his relationship with Chrissy if he really does love her. Chink is inspired by his father’s words and decides to send for Chrissy so she can meet his dad. When Chrissy shows up, though, she and Chink get into yet another argument about their communication issues. Chrissy is hostile at first but eventually softens up and squashes her problems with Chink. She’s shocked to finally meet Chink’s dad and he embraces Chrissy with open arms.
