Jill Blackstone, best known for her work as a produced of a variety of big shows, including “Jerry Springer,” “Sally Jessy Raphael” and “Rosie” has been arrested for allegedly killing her deaf sister.
According to TMZ, authorities received a call on Monday from Blackstone saying there was a dead person and three dead dogs in her San Fernando Valley, California, garage. Although Blackstone claimed the person killed herself, when law enforcement arrived on the scene, they became suspicious about the suicide note, which they now believe was written by Jill Blackstone.
The victim, Wendy Blackstone, 49, lived in Studio City. While the body showed no outward signs of trauma, officer say the coroner is doing a toxicology report as they believe there was foul play.
Blackstone, who also produced “Dr. Drew,” “The Real,” “Sharon Osbourne” and various court shows, was being held on $1 million bail. She was released late Wednesday afternoon as the LAPD continue their investigation.
