Sunday Funday Live offers unique party experience at Chicago’s Bar 10 Doors

Chicagoans looking to cap off their weekends with either a day party or live music or both can look no further than the weekly Sunday Funday Live event at the Bar 10 Doors in the University Village neighborhood.

Hosted by Craig Elliott and Kevin “KB” Burns aka The Spin Doctors, the event started with the day party portion of things as guests enjoyed food and drink specials with DJ Mark Fuller on the 1’s and 2’s. Then the band, Nuance, took over to begin the live music show featuring fast rising duo, Foster & Jack, in addition to singers Nia Lenee and Ingrid Rachel.

According to event host Craig Elliott, the familiar feel and laid back atmosphere of the evening is very deliberate.

“From the afternoon patio day party to live bands in the evening we’re looking to bring back the adult social experience reminiscent of vibes shown in movies like Love Jones and TV shows like ‘Girlfriends & NY Undercover,'” Elliott said.Class, maturity, self-respect are our party pillars if you will.”

Sunday Funday Live happens every Sunday at the Bar 10 Doors located at 1259 W. Taylor St. The day party kicks off at 2 p.m., and the live music portion beings at 9 p.m. For information on bookings and table reservations please email to [email protected].
