Since being one of the breakout stars on WE’s “Braxton Values,” landing her very own spin-off series, “Tamar & Vince” and then a hosting spot on Fox’s “The Real,” Braxton has truly come into her own. But according to celebrity gossip site Funky Dineva, all is not what it seems. Tamar Braxton has been accused of owing her former nanny over $150K in back pay and not paying her glam squad. In legal documents and a letter submitted by the nanny, it details why the reality couple is being taken to court.
“Dear Commissioner,” the letter begins. “My law office has been retained … regarding wage and hour violations arising out of employment at Vincent Herbert and Tamar Braxton, as reflected in the attached DLSE Form. — We have requested payroll records and personal records, but the employer has refused to produce them within 21 days of our request.”.
Unfortunately for Tamar and Vince, their former nanny is just one of two people looking to collect wages owed. Terrell Mullin, “The Real” co-host’s former makeup artist, also claims he wasn’t properly compensated.
Mullin confirmed speculation that there’s trouble in paradise when he shared the above post via Instagram. At this point the reality couple has yet to respond. Maybe it has something to do with speculation that they are also facing tax woes with the IRS. Nonetheless, should their be an ounce of truth to these claims, we’re interested to see how it all plays out.
