On April 16-17, 2015, hundreds of aspiring entrepreneurs attended a two-day conference at The Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The symposium consisted of various breakout sessions, small-business pitch competitions, lunch with idea geniuses, and performances from Grammy Award winners Estelle and India.Arie.
Estelle opened the conference with a performance hat was followed by a series of high-impact leadership forums led by notable experts, includlng award-winning journalist and CEO of Starfish Media, Soledad O’Brien; Desiree Rogers, CEO of Johnson Publishing Company; chef Roble; Dr. Bruce Wilkinson, anointed speaker and author of The Dream Giver; and Jonathan Sprinkles, connection coach and author.
India.Arie closed the conference with a “Song-Versation” while Teneshia Jackson Warner, founder and CEO of Egami Consulting Group; and Shenique Coston, manager, experiential marketing, Samsung Electronics America presented winner Shenique Coston with a check for $5,000 on behalf of Samsung Business, as the Samsung Dream Winner.
