Kenya Moore found herself in the tabloid hot seat this week when she announced to the world that she’d discovered her “Millionaire Matchmaker” boyfriend, James Freeman, secretly married another woman while they were dating. Since the announcement, hordes of people, including Vivica A. Fox, have blasted Moore for allegedly faking the relationship and breakup for a publicity stunt. Now, Freeman’s wife is speaking out against “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star too.
In a new interview with RadarOnline, Freeman’s wife, Jaime Gregory Freeman, explains that she met her husband after he filmed “Millionaire Matchmaker.”
“James was on ‘Millionaire Matchmaker’ in September [2014] and I met him in December. We met on Match.com and three months later we were engaged,” she told Radar exclusively. “Then on Good Friday, April 3, 2015, we got married. We just knew right away that we were in love.”
Jaime says that Freeman had forgotten about Moore and “Millionaire Matchmaker” until commercials for the the episode began airing.
“[He] totally forgot he even did the show and so when the commercials started airing he told me all about it.”
“He said he went on two or three dates after the show aired with Kenya,” she claimed. “He told me they just kissed and nothing else. He said she just wasn’t the right person for him, but he wished her the best.”
Jaime says that it’s only within the last couple of weeks that Moore tried to reconnect with her husband.
“Kenya wrote to him saying that they should celebrate since their ratings were so high,” she said. “But he told her that he had met someone and fell in love so it wasn’t appropriate for him to talk with her anymore.”
However, Jaime says that Moore wasn’t happy that Freeman moved on without her and that’s when she allegedly came up with a plot to turn his misfortune into publicity gold. Read what Jaime had to say about Moore’s plot after the cut.
