Kenya Moore has been taking jabs left and right from the Internet as people have bashed her over her allegedly fake relationship (and breakup) with her “Millionaire Matchmaker” ex-boyfriend, James Freeman. Now, the “heartbroken” reality star is finally speaking out on her derailed love life.
In a new red carpet interview with “Extra,” Moore denied allegations from both fans and Freeman’s wife that she lied about knowing Freeman was already a married man when they dated.
“We did the show in November and there’s evidence of me being out, and [having] birthday dinners together. My birthday was at the end of January, so that’s pretty clear, but it is what it is,” Moore said.
Despite the split and the public humiliation, Moore explains that she’s still hopeful that she’ll find love soon enough.
“I’m not the first person that’s been lied to by a man, and I’m not the last. I’m in this fight and I’m a warrior and I just think life twirls on, that’s it. … You gotta kiss some frogs to find a prince, things happen and it’s just how you react to it that determines your future and I just think that this is just a bump in the road,” Moore said.
Well, she certainly wasn’t the only one in this situation defending herself. Read what “Millionaire Matchmaker” host Patti Stanger had to say to the critics claiming her show is fake, as well as her new promise to Kenya Moore.
