Chris Brown might be busy trying to beef with Tyson Beckford over Karrueche Tran, but it looks like he’s going to have to turn his attention to something that’s actually his business and actually important to him because reports are claiming that his baby’s mama is saying he’s a deadbeat dad.

According to TMZ, sources claim that Nia Guzman, the mother of Brown’s daughter, Royalty, has been receiving a small monthly check of $2,500 a month from Brown for months. However, the sources say the checks stopped coming in March after Guzman demanded that he up the amount to $15,000.

The sources say that Brown thinks Guzman is just trying to ride his coattails to riches. However, Guzman thinks that Brown is just cheap and that his measly checks are affecting their daughter.

Guzman already has a lawyer, Carl Moore, and he allegedly plans to file a lawsuit against Brown in the next two weeks, demanding back child support and a huge increase in his monthly payments.

We’re sure Brown is extremely angry about this, but considering how rich he is and the fact that he’s already acknowledged the child is his, he might want to consider settling out of court before he ends up losing a large chunk of his wealth if the judgement goes against him. Beyond that, we hope that both Brown and Guzman focus on taking care of Royalty instead of fighting each other.
