Victor Espinoza, history-making jockey who rode American Pharoah to Triple Crown, is a playboy

Watch our Hugh Hefner and all you other Hollywood hunks, there’s a new playboy in town. Victor Espinoza, the jockey who rode 3-year-old colt, American Pharoah, to triple crown, at the 147th Belmont Stakes today is hot to trot. The last horse to win the Triple Crown was Affirmed in 1978.

Three times a charm. Espinoza has tried his hand at winning the triple crown, twice, before today’s race. Ahmet Zayat, American Pharoah’s owner, takes home a $800,000, with Espinoza getting $80,000 of that prize.


Espinoza has a things for horse racing and apparently tall blondes. Two women are claiming to date the 5-foot-2 king of horse racing. One is a Stephanie Kunkel, 25, who claims to be his fiancée, as well as 5-foot-7 Kelly Kovalchick, 19.
